Highly over priced restaurant. Food was so so. Portion size is too small, especially with the over priced pricing. Service was so so as well. No coming back checking with the satisfaction of food. No apology for BBQ juice that leaked out that dirt my pants.

One of the best Korean restaurants. It's a truly home food, not commercialized. Owners are extremely friendly. It's a pleasant environment. There is always the place, no waiting line, and the majority of the clientele is Koreans (That's how you know the place is good).

It's as authentic as you can get with a really great variety. The food is amazing! And the staff has always been really nice to us. It's been my family's go-to place for a while now.

Went there regularly, great food! Side dishes are all home made, can't buy anywhere else if you like it, but ask for more, because they are all free! Main dishes are very tasty, but don't order untypical stuff like dumplings. BBQ is very good too. Major customers are native Korean so you can trust there taste!

I hadn't gone to the Kagopa in a very long time so I decided to go with my friends. When we got their I was a bit surprised/sad to hear that the owner had changed, because the previous owner was an awesome cook. Anyway my friends and I made our orders and we were looking forward to a nice meal. My friends rated their dish, okay. My dish on the other hand wasn't so great. I could tell that the stuff in stew like soup weren't fresh after taking one sip...on top of that the cost! I really felt ripped off. Be warned, quality of food varies. Also avoid ordering stuff that isn't on the menu because you could either get a delightful or disappointing surprise. (If you do order off the menu make sure to ask about the price.) I've had some friends that enjoyed the food their and some that didn't. Unfortunately for me, my first experience wasn't that great and I don't have any plans on going back. I'll be sticking to my local area. - Jay

My Korean warned me not to go coz the original chef left about 2 months ago. I regret not listening. The spicy tofu soup was one of the most terrible n horrible I ever had. The extreme odor of dead shell fish surpass the rest of the taste of The soup. took my tremendous effort to finish it

If you bother going to this place which is located between two car dealerships and way out of the way, make sure to call beforehand. Not only to make a reservation, but to ask if their waiters are available, and when, and if food can be served at that particular time. I recommend you ask twice, cuz they may answer with bs the first time. Do not take for granted their 'opening hours'. We called beforehand to be sure they were indeed open (have kids to have babysat, which costs me lots per hour). They confirmed so. We traveled over 45 minutes to get there. When we arrived, they refused us service. The lady said something about the waiters being 'on break' and coming back at about 7pm, and how we should have reserved (I called to ask if they were open, even their front window sign says so, what more do you want?). I'm just appalled by the reception and service we got. Although, I was enthusiastic about trying this place out, and excited to try some authentic Korean food, this experience completely baffled me, enough to keep me away from this place forever more, and to tell anyone I know that they are best off eating some place else. Guess I'll never know how good their food is or isn't anymore.
