Contrary to my initial review, I find busbud to be amazing with great experience. Thier customer service is very excellent. I made a mistake with my booking and had to book twice as the first date was wrong . I was however fully refunded on my mistake order even tho it was a non refundable trip. I thank busbud for this. It would be nice if they had customer service over phone line but I guess they working on it. Thier email service is fast and prompt. They always have best prices available. Thanks to Guillaume who assisted me . This is a complete edit of my initial review.

Long trips, and pricy for what it it. Customer service is AMAZING. Drivers from NYC are always funny and on FIRE. They definitely make my trips much better ️thank you guys for your hard work!
Update: I have had a quick and good feedback from customer service. They explained the situation which is basically that the buses are not theirs, they hire exterior companies... Hope I’m explaining this correctly. Anyhow, I am satisfied with their response and I appreciate the help they have given me. I have updated my review by adding a star. I’m hoping to give it another try soon. A bit disappointed with my experience. My father uses busbud maybe once a month and encouraged me to use their services. I chose to take their bus because they clearly state that busses have wifi and charging stations (wall plugs) and I needed those to work from my computer. The bus I was in had neither. I told the driver (very nice driver, only reason why I’m even giving two stars) about the issue and apparently they are aware that this particular bus is very old and doesn’t have what the company advertises. I am self employed and I need to know that I can rely on the information that companies are giving.
Liars! Cancellations aren’t free at all, they cost 20 eur. FlixBus charges 20 eur per person to cancel the bus tickets up to to an hour before departure but Busbud lies and says you can cancel for free up to an hour before departure. Never again, it’s easier and cheaper to buy from the bus company directly.
Booked a ticket through Orleans Express. Canceled the ticket with Orleans Express whom said although I could buy the ticket from them, I had to cancel through BusBud. I called Busbud and they said I needed to cancel through Orleans Express. This cycled through twice. Since those calls the time has elapsed to cancel the ticket and Busbud, although now acknowledging they should provide the refund, won't because the time expired. Brutal business dysfunction with their partners where the only one that loses is the buyer. Understand if you need to cancel, it's likely you won't get your money back from either the transit line (Greyhound, Orleans Express etc) or Busbud!
