Editing my rating/review. The store was great as was the the service that I experienced. It is unfortunately closed permanently as of February 2018 as it's owned y bass pro and they really didn't need to compete against themselves. The pictures were taken from CBC and the telegraph journal websites as I haven't been there since it closed.
Great customer service. Was looking for a pair of boots and they didn't have the size I needed. They ordered in a pair from another store and called me twice to let me know where they were and when they would be in. Will definitely shop there again. Also, the boots were in before they thought they would be in.
Amazing store and I'm not even a hunter
Great spot for camping, hunting and fishing equipment friendly staff expect to stay 30 mins or more, with exceptional variety of products, prices reasonable.
Staff were busy talking among themselves behind counter not realizing a potential paying customer was awaiting assistance from either of the two... to open a locked glass display of binoculars. I decided to approach the front desk "customer service" in an attempt to perhaps get a more helpful associate. "Customer service" offered to call the department to see if perhaps one of the two would be able to assist in my request. I thought of that as well, however... I decided against this as that didn't seem at all sensible. In fact the purchase now seemed not at all sensible, more of a want verses a need. Pretty much everything in the store is that. (Want vs. Need). Nice matching uniform shirts were misleading for identifying helpful assistance on this day. Nice store if browsing is what you are interested in. Clean.
Very helpful staff. Got me fixed up proper with a bow. Decent prices. Will return and recommend
Wow! Really amazing store in my opinion, everything you could ever want for outdoor activities. Hunting, snow shoeing and everything in between... High quality gear to say the least, seems to always have something on sale (that I want) when I go to the store. If you've never been you need to go
