I’m rating the school 5 stars based on the dental Assistant program a lot of reviews fail to recognize that there are two wonderful teachers that teach this program miss Lloyd and miss Anna work well together. They both have different teaching styles miss Lloyd is a wonderful and caring instructor she’s cares about her student and want to see them all succeed. She goes over and back for all of us, she not only help us with our education she also is a friend to all. I just love her not only her students love her the DH students adore her and always say they wish they had her as a instructor. True miss Anna is a wonderful teacher also. I strongly recommend this program because of these two ladies. I’ve been successful in my career and I owe it all to them both, thank you miss Lloyd and miss Anna.

When I close my eyes, recall what we have experienced, what we have studied. Wow! We have been taught so many many techniques of dental assisting. At first, it’s too abstract to understand in this assisting program. But following my instructor, Miss Ana Puntillo, through studying step by step, I find myself already become professional in this filed which help me to build confidence in future work. Exactly I've already find my job successfully. That should attribute the success to my instructor’s strict training. She’s a very fair, wise and professional teacher which lets me have the new experience in new world. As well as Miss Lloyd who’s our level two instructor. Her positive attitude and smile always affects me. Infection control is very critical in this school. So I introduced many friends for dental hygiene there.

I came from a totally different background to the Dental Assisting program and it was a huge change for me. I'm so glad that I made that decision. My teachers were such great motivators and with their positive energy I made it so far. I finished my Dental Assisting with Honours and am currently working as a certified DA. If you are thinking of a Dental Assisting career I would suggest coming to this school. Not only will you come out with book knowledge but practical knowledge..The instructors have many years of practice knowledge and their passion for teaching comes through in their everyday classes.

I'm giving a 5 star review based upon the Level 2 Dental Assistant Program teachers. Ms. Puntillo has been teaching for many years and her experience shows. Going to class was not about reading through a textbook, but about discussing topics and real life experiences. Now that I've been working in the industry since graduating in January /20, I really appreciate her realism and practical tips. She was engaging with us students, and had a real drive to help her students improve. We had a mixed class of all ages from 20 to 40's, and she could relate to everyone. Suctioning was so tricky for me, and knowing moisture control would be my primary role when working, I sought out extra assistance and could share my personal worries about that task. Ms P was patient and helped me relax, and provided confidence overall. I recommend Ms. P and the Intra-Oral DA program. With the program being relatively new to this traditionally Dental Hygiene school, I do believe that adding additional resources and chairs for DA's to use, would be beneficial.
