I hope this was a one off. I went for the first time due to the fantastic reviews and the proximity of where I live in the area. It was a beautiful Saturday around noon. The place was dark and I was the only customer. Their interact / credit machine was down so I had to run to an ATM. Upon returning ordered 2 veal sandwiches and it honestly tasted like left over. I did wonder how quick she lit the sandwich together as I didn't hear it cook. Like I said I hope it's a one off as the reviews are pretty good.

I wish I had discovered this place sooner! Their steak sandwich with onions, cheese and hot peppers is delicious. Best rice balls I’ve ever had, and no one comes close to having a marinara sauce that is as good as theirs. My son loves the veal, and if you have a chance, order the spicy olives. They’re to die for. Food has always been fresh, portions are huge, service was fast, and staff were great. Highly recommended. I’ll be back for sure.
So happy I found this. Very limited menu, but is a sure fire bet! I had the chicken with provolone cheese and fried onions, was amazing! The sandwiches are served on a large kaiser bun, with marinara sauce and melted cheese. Definitely hitting this place up again! It's simple but just like how mama would make it!
Good veal sandwich...
A bit sad to see this place closed down, but oh well... The sandwich itself was a bit overpriced and wrapped in an astronomical amount of tinfoil, but sure tasted amazing. One to remember for sure! The owner was funny and kind to us, but had to go out to get some fresh buns from the Lusitania bakery not far away and left us waiting for over ten minutes. Glad to see he cared about the buns being fresh, but not worth the wait. Cool sports magazines on the tables by the window, nothing special. Two people that I thought were customers were actually visiting the place and hoping to buy it, that's when my poor heart sunk. Unfortunately the Saucy Kytchen has to say goodbye.... Great sandwiches you guys.
A must do when visiting the Port Credit area. The food at Saucy Kytchen is phenomenal! You must try the veal sandwich, it's the best in town. My kids loved the pizza and rice balls. They devoured the whole pizza! The staff is amazing and friendly! This place is definitely a family favourite!
I had the veggie sandwich. It was delicious! I definitely recommend this place. The portions are big and the price is right. The people that work there are super nice. If you're in the Mississauga area you definitely need to stop by.
I had the pleasure of eating the chicken parmesan sandwich. I really appreciated their commitment to making it cheesy, strings of cheese with every bite! It was honestly a delicious sandwich that I keep thinking about. On top of the great food, is the customer service. Genuinely nice people and extremely friendly environment. I will be eating another sandwich from them. If you get the pleasure of meeting Ray, you'll have the ultimate best experience with Saucy Kitchen.
