PALC helped me achieve my goal of attaining my GED. The staff and environment was amazing and helped me immensely in staying focused and motivated. They worked with me at my own pace which allowed me to relax and get through this process that I had been avoiding for years. This place is absolutely amazing, the staff is outstanding and everyone there are there to help you prepare for your goals you want in life. I had an amazing successful experience with the center. The staff went above and beyond to help me achieve my goals which was to receive my G.E.D .(which I did) I was taught how to make a proper resume and also gained a ton of knowledge about myself and how to help myself learn as I had low self esteem levels on learning. I soon realized that I was quite qualified to learning and could accomplish my goals. It was hard and difficult at times to learn new strategies but I managed due to having such a wonderful support team behind me, that always encouraged me that I could do it... If you are a mature student and want to further your education I suggest this place 100% as you won't find another place or staff members that will take their time or effort to see you reach YOUR goals. Well let me tell you a little about my self I work general labor all my life. My lost job was for Metro as a raymond reach operator I worked there for 17 years until I was diagnosed with osteoporosis I need a shoulder replacement on my right shoulder I can't do general labor no more I got to grade 11 in high school I quit school so I could make money 20 years ago general labor didn't required you to have you high school diploma in now days is required I was shocked to find this out I didn't know where to go I'm 47 years old now until i found the Peel Adult learning centre for me it has been a positive experience from the students to the teachers at first I thought to myself I can't do this I'm to old for school so many things cross my head.I really recommended their programs are not set for you to failed you get to work at your own pace with the teachers help of course to get your GED and learn other things also.
When I signed up with the center I didn't know wat to expect. But iam so happy I did the instructors are very nice they explain the work in a way that makes its very easy to understand. I love the classes online and I love everything about the materials.
Excellent place to prepare yourself and getting GED. Teachers are excellent, caring, understanding. Palc is like a family. I would recommend Palc to family, friends or anybody that is trying to get their GED or trying to get into college.
