Good for kids
I tried to register for a class here last Thursday, I didn’t want to do it online because I had never been before and wanted to meet the teachers and also try a class first. I called the phone number on the website a few times to check in and ask if I could come but there was no answer. It’s 99 tax to register and mandatory to bring a partner, who also has to pay 99 (what if you don’t have a partner?) When I showed up to the class I was immediately told that the class was at capacity and they couldn’t take anymore people, period. Mark didn’t ask if I wanted to stay and watch or offer another class to me. He wasn’t very welcoming, just clearly wanted me to leave the studio. When I got home I went to register online and there were lots of spaces available, nowhere did it say the class was at capacity. I’m glad I didn’t register and pay 220 online ahead of time only to be told at the door it was at capacity....then I would have been stressed about trying to get my money back. I really wish these dance classes were more accessible and that Mark would have been more welcoming and offered another class to take or even just had a talk with me about his studio and classes to make me feel welcome and want to register. He seemed very strict and stressed about guidelines and procedures.

Great place to learn Latin dancing. The instructors are very welcoming and knowledgeable. I loved performing on the Ladies Styling team; the classes, teammates and vibe were very positive. I owe a lot to Vanesa for giving me the opportunity and for introducing me to the performance side of dance.
Latin Energy offers a variety of opportunities to dancers of all levels. Whether interested in bachata or salsa- Vanessa and her team of instructors do a fabulous job integrating the key techniques to in learning how to dance! Latin Energy is absolutely awesome! Don’t think twice.....You will not be disappointed!
I am taking salsa 1 with no prior dancing experience. I am happy with this studio because atmosphere is relaxed, instructors are nice and most importantly patient. I do like that the studio organizes dancing party twice a month which includes additional dancing class.
UPDATE: I have now been to 4 of their social nights (performed at one of them) and I had the time of my life at every occasion! The DJ usually plays a mix of 3 salsa songs and 2 bachata songs and adds a chacha/other Latin genre in there. They always have a dance lesson before the event (one for beginners, one for intermediates) and it really helps set a fun, open-minded and welcoming mood for everyone, from beginner to professional. It's worth noting that apart from their salsa and bachata classes, I've taken their \Latin mix\ class, which is great for learning a basic of other Latin dances, such as chacha, cumbia, merengue, tango, reggaeton, etc. I've also taken their student performance class (which alternates between salsa/bachata), which I must say was the best class so far as I've made so many great friends, all lovers of salsa/bachata! The fact that this school is still at 5 stars after 76 reviews speaks volumes about students' overall satisfaction. All the instructors are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, down to earth and welcoming to all students! You WILL feel at ease at this dancing school. At the same time though, if you're up for a challenge, they certainly have the expertise in their repertoire! In the intermediate/advanced classes, you definitely have to be up to the task, but the experience is still so fun and invigorating. Overall, you can see that a lot of time and effort goes into preparing these classes to make it a fun and seamless experience for all students. I have yet to attend their socials & other events, but if they're anything like the classes, I'm in for several nights to remember! My only regret is not signing up for this several years ago!!
