We have only the best possible things to say about HNMCS. From the initial tour of the school, we felt strongly that this was a good fit for our daughter. Now in grade 11 she is flourishing academically and in confidence and ambition. Teachers and support staff know just how to encourage the best from each student, and provide opportunities to lead, thrive and achieve their very best. Our younger daughter now attends and is investigating valuable STEM opportunities through extracurriculars such as Robotics Club. The switch to online learning due to the pandemic has been seamless both for academics and in providing social interaction and community support in alternate forums. We are confident that our girls will be well positioned to move on from their high school experience with exactly what they need to excel in their next endeavours. I recommend this school to my family and friends without hesitation.

Being a member of the Holy Name community from grade 5-12, I can honestly say it was a life changing experience. There were so many opportunities to grow as an individual and gain confidence while also finding my interests. Through my time at the school, I had the opportunity to be in clubs such as eco club and set design and be a member of sports teams ranging from soccer to badminton. I also held a variety of student government positions that strengthened my leadership skills. These opportunities and experiences helped make me who I am today and prepare me for life at university. The teachers are invested in your success and are there to guide and help you succeed. I have met lifelong friends at the school and I can say with confidence that I would not be the same person I am today had I not attended Holy Name.

Our experience and our daughters' experience has been exceptional. HNMCS features an expansive campus, well-appointed classrooms and labs with a solid technology framework (they hit the ground running for the Zoom-oriented era), a rich curriculum balancing science & technology, the arts, athletics, and more... but most of all, HNMCS offers staff and a school administration that is not only top-notch in their areas, but who actually care for how their students develop.

My daughter has been at HNMCS for the past 3 years; since grade 5. As a family we have had a great experience interacting with the teachers, other parents and administration staff. During the school tour, my daughter felt at home and by the end of it she was very sure that HNMCS is her school. Her transition was seamless and she has continued to grow positively in her academics, social and co curricular activities. HNMCS has provided her with opportunities and supports to explore in academics, co-curricular and always challenges her to go beyond her comfort zone. At the dinner table she always has something to share on her day at school, as opposed to the monosyllabic answers of 'good and fine'.
