Fast service even during times of the epidemic. Safe place with measures in place. Stores well kept even for a Saturday. Good in stock. I've shopped at Food Basics for many years.

This is one of the most cleanest Food Basics I have ever been to. It is very local and smaller when compared to the other larger grocery chains, but the employees are very polite, and everything is quite clean. The one issue is finding employees though. There seems to be nobody ever working except the cashiers, and sometimes the dairy section looks like it is out of stock, but you can clearly see the milk in the back cooler. Lastly, they just installed self-checkout options, which is awesome, and makes it very easy for quick trips to just pick up a couple of items.

The additional supply of different varieties of vegetables was so helpful to me. I can always walk to the store and get a complete ingredients for my menus. I always find good deals in fruits and veggies. Hoping to find more in the future...

I am a nearby resident to this store. Often I find fresh veggies and good deal on many of the items available there. Location is convenient with lots of parking spots and Tim Hortons in the same yard. The only low spot is: at times things are cheaper in their parent store Metro and they don’t price match even with their own larger counterpart. Slogan is always more for less but that applies only too often.
