I went to check out these trees and wasn’t very impressed. I felt they were not very nice looking and very scrawny. Comparable to the grocery store trees and comparable pricing to the grocery stores, except at least they go on sale at the grocery stores. If I want a discount tree it’s an option, and they do provide more service than a grocery store but I was looking for a premium tree to make Christmas a little extra special especially this year. Their website says they’re the best trees around which is laughable, maybe they should market them as a good value with service so customers looking for premium trees don’t waste their time checking them out.

I had the pleasure of doing business yesterday with Rod, of Christmas Tree Farms Direct. Location: Heartland Town Centre Canadian Tire, outside near front entrance I had gone to a different retailer earlier whom had apparently closed for the day around 1pm, so after a quick Google search I found Christmas Tree Farms Direct. I called to make sure they’re open for business and I ended up with a gorgeous tree (actually among the best live trees my family’s ever had) and an unexpectedly warm and comfortable customer experience from cradle to grave—that is, from the moment I was greeted by Rod to the moment he very kindly helped to place and arrange the tree in my vehicle. It was a very customized, pleasant experience. I left with friendly advice about how to care for the tree and plans to visit next year as well. Christmas Tree Farms Direct’s tree selection is extensive (at least compared to other retailers I’ve visited in the past) and the trees are big, beautiful and look well cared for. I picked up a shapely Balsam Fir just shy of 8 feet. It let down its branches this morning and really looks the business. Christmas Tree Farms Direct gets a warm recommendation from me!
