My dads health was failing so I have had to take his dog Lucy (14 years old) into my home. I've never had a small dog that needed regular grooming, we've only ever had large hound dogs whose grooming entailed a bath every so often and their nails trimmed, Lucy on the other hand needs quite a bit of care which I wasn't capable of doing. I found Brenda and I am so thankful. Lucy is well cared for, professionally groomed and there's no stress for Lucy or for me. I'm so grateful to Brenda and her staff and I highly recommend them. The very best pet spa out there. Brenda and her staff truly love dogs and provide the best care for the most unique personalities. I am the pet parent of an elderly dog, Mason - a soft coated wheaten terrier, and have been coming here for 5 years. Each groom is provided in a gentle way, at the pace my senior dog can handle. HIGHLY recommend visiting Brenda's Dog Spa.
I took my husky German shepherd to Brenda's spa recently and it was such a positive experience! My pup got his nails cut and is a bit of a drama queen (howling, crying etc). Most groomers we've been to have gotten fed up with the noise he's made and have been careless when cutting his nails (cutting the quick, cutting the nail bit not using the grinder so they're sharp, not cutting the fur on the paw pads). Brenda and her assistant were thoughtful from the beginning. As soon as he got on the table he was getting praised and comforted, not ignored. All his nails were trimmed and blunt, and Brenda was sure to be extra careful of a nail notorious for getting clipped at the quick. She even got permission from us to give him a treat instead of giving one which is super important as our dog has a sensitive stomach! 10/10 I'll definitely be going there again :)
I had a good experience here because they were welcoming and friendly. I really like how the salon is set up. The dogs are not kept in crates but instead in a safe gated area. This is a plus especially for anxious dogs. My babies were also very happy. Great work with the grooming! I’ll be back for sure. Thank you!
