Came in to rent a van today. Called ahead and said van was available. The clerk didnt know what he was doing. I waited for an hour and he was not able complete the transaction. Very poor customer service. I would not recommend going to this place.

The online pickup process was supposed to be hassle free, but I ran into problems with the u-haul website as it kept going to the error page at the step where I was supposed to take a picture of the speedometer. I then had to call customer care and get the lock code to get the keys to the truck. It was freezing weather and I had to call customer care two times and spend nearly 45 mins to get the lock code. I was planning to complain about the horrendous experience on returning the vehicle and write a negative review. What changed my mind is that an elderly man who was at the U-Haul center when I was returning the vehicle came up and offered help with the checkout and also took care of some extra charges which were showing up online even though I never opted for it. The man also apologized for the inconvenience that I had to go through during the online pickup as the store was not open at that time as it was early Saturday morning. The store opened only by 12 in the afternoon. Anyways , I hope that U-haul customer service is trained better to take care of customers. Hopefully they will improve the response time for these online glitchups.
I confirmed the availability of the truck before I go, but the office was closed DURING THE WORKING HOURS, I had to wait like an hour outside calling the many numbers posted on the shop front glass and signage, when I had loads of work commitments .Also, when we felt I were overcharged we called asking for a receipt, we were promised one, but we received none!! .The only reason I am posting 2 stars and not 1 is that the guy was nice
I rented 10' U-Haul truck and it was a good experience , the customer service person Mohamed was very nice and welcoming . check in took few mints the truck was clean I recommend this place for people who looking for good service.
