My daughters and I took the 'Discover Scuba' class with Dave. He was supportive and reassuring, for our anxious crew. We signed up for our open water course and completed the in-class and in-pool sessions with Kelly. She was another great instructor! The following weekend we did our open water dives. The team of people that helped us (Sue, Melissa, Dave, Bill and Kyle) are to be commended for the way that they support and care for their clients. Customer service and quality care are at the forefront of all they do! It is so refreshing to see a company being run with such thoughtfulness. I highly recommend trying the 'Discover Scuba' class. It was one of the best decisions that I have ever made for personal growth. I am excited to try the 'Peak Performance' class to help build confidence and skill! So much gratitude to this company!

Best dive shop in the area. Finally under new ownership and an absolutely great club to be a part of! Training courses with full training facility on site, loads of gear available, plus lots of trips down south!! What a turn around. We love you Barrie Scuba House!!!
There are some good Dive Shops around, but every once in a while you come across a gem like Barrie Scuba House. With excellent staff and solid product lines, there is something here for every diver from novice to full-on Tec diver. The product selections are very good, there is top-flight on-site service and support, and the on-site training facilities are excellent. Most notable is the Advanced / Technical instruction provided by Dave Davison (owner). I am presently doing the PADI Tec 40/45/50 series with Dave, and I am having a great time. Dave is an excellent Technical instructor, coach and mentor. This is the most challenging program I have ever taken (and I have taken many). Dave has high standards, but he works with his students to grow their skills and achieve. Always patient and encouraging in his approach, Dave inspires confidence and a positive learning attitude in his students, and he is just plain fun to be with. I highly recommend Dave and Barrie Scuba House for all your diver training and equipment needs.
Used to deal with Tim many eons ago. Dave was a really great guy. Picked up a great package for my wife starting out. Cant wait to come back and drop for a full setup for her. He has earned our business. His tech found me the parts I needed at a fraction of the price of new.

Thank you Dave and the team at Barrie Scuba House. The measurements on my custom fit dry suit (aka big boy suit ...lol) were bang on and I can't wait to get in the pool and try it out then into the cold open waters of Georgian Bay to do the same. This summer has been awesome learning to scuba dive with Barrie Scuba House. Open water, Advance open water, Nytrox and now dry suit training to be finished up. I have learned so much and the training is second to none. Dave your knowledge can not be match and you do all of the that and make those that visit and learn at Barrie Scuba House feel like a member of the family. Not only did I get to learn from you Dave and your team, but I also got to learn side by side with my son Caleb, and that was truly fantastic! For that I am truly great-full. With both of us with our dry suits there is no limit to what we can do in scuba. We will both continue to grow and learn in scuba together with your continued support. Thanks again Dave!
One of the best Dive shops in the area. Knowledge Staff, with a large selection of Scuba and Tec gear. They even carry mask for kids. Behind the main building is a beautiful indoor pool and large class room right off the pool deck. All there Instructors are great people that are easy to get a long with. I have quite a few dives with this shop and every dive I have come up with a smile. If you want to know how to dive or want to up grade your skills this really is the dive shop for you.
