I wish I took a picture of the mango New Year's cake I bought. Michelle's is consistantly good quality traditional Chinese bakery fare. Their sponge layers are always fresh and moist and fruits are visible with every layer. They have the classic buns and some newer style buns. I like Michelle's for a good gift cake for dinners and get togethers. This is not a gluten free shop. It's flour, butter, eggs and cream. Desserts are light and refreshing and are not overly sweet. It's not chocolate ganache. Highly recommend Michelle's for beautiful Chinese bakery items.
Michele's bakery is one of the best go to for yummy buns and cakes in ton! Their buns ar made fresh everyday and provide a great variety. I love love love their mango cake and it's also a must eat when it's in season. The fruit cake, mango mousse, chocolate mousse, tiramisu are all super good. They take pride in the quality and freshness of their cake, I love getting them for my friend's birthday because it never disappoints! My recommendation is to always order ahead of time as they get insanely busy. They are cash only but there are many banks near by.
