I buy Metzger's meats at Safeway in Owen Sound. The quality of their product is excellent. The prices are reasonable. I really enjoy the pea meal bacon, pepperoni, bacon and pork chops. I recommend these products to anyone who wants quality products from local business.

Excellent smoked meat products!!!!!! I love how the bacon and back bacon doesn't release a ton of water when you cook it (due to \seasoning\). So, when you cook a pound of bacon you get a pound of bacon. (& surprisingly very little fat, too!) I love the smell of the house & neighborhood when we cook it! Worth every penny!!!!!

These people were super rude. Walked in, just got a glance then they ignored us. Had to ask to be helped. Place was oddly super steamy, fogging up my glasses, commented on it, just got the cold shoulder for a response. But the worst part was I was taking pictures on my phone to ask my mom if she wanted anything else next time I came, and they told me to stop taking pictures! Not of the people or the staff, of the meat in the freezer. They wouldn't even let me snap a cell phone pic of the freezer with the selection and prices to text to my mom. They must be afraid that I'm getting a picture of some kind of food safety violation, and they must be breaking some kind of rules to be that afraid of pictures of the meat. Don't think I'll be coming back.
