This is a great campground - super convenient location, great campground hosts who work hard to enforce rules (like 10pm quiet time). Yes it is near the highway, but the noise tapers off in the evening - I woke up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, and didn't hear a single car go by. Definitely pick an \inside\ site as they are quieter. If you are a tent camper, many sites have lovely sand tent pads - I really enjoyed this!! The bathroom was clean and did not smell (other than to be expected from a pit toilet). The campground itself was very pretty.

Closed right now, but what a great place to bring the kids and dogs!

These reviews are mainly way off ! This was an old farm that was donated to become a Park.....it became a walking Park, then a Provincial Park, at one point I was told it was a federal Park, I lived right up the road from it it is a very pretty place. It is minimalist, a place to tent and catch a ferry. People expect Disneyland, stop complaining, it is a lovely little wooded area. I really loved walking through here with my dog everyday. If you are into a big tough adventure, go do the Cape Scott Trail, no highway noises, but you will have to get off your butt and stop whining in. these review. lol

Nice spot. You can hear the highway, but it's not that bad. Outhouses only. Walk in sites have no fire pits but you can use the group one near by. Overall had a good time, close to the ferry and a pretty straight shot into Victoria for the day
