I had a fantastic retreat here in August 2017. Daniel and Tanya were fantastic. Daniel is a bit of a prodigy, so his knowledge cannot be passed on in a single retreat, but soak in as much as you can. The accommodations were far nicer than I was expecting, including bathrooms, library, etc. I could not recommend this place enough. In addition to it being a great place for me to kick start my meditation practice (I'm about 18 months in), the additional "non-meditation" activities were amazing (gong savasana, peruvian whistling vessels, etc.). Daniel is an all around talent. I plan to be back one day.

My experience at the Samadhi Center, a beautiful and intentional space, was one of the most valuable and enlightening of my life. Daniel and Tanya create a profound container of silence and teaching because they reside at a depth of consciousness that is deep, true and devoted. During the retreat, I experienced a shift into an abiding Presence that has lasted as I have moved back into the world. I am deeply grateful.

Spirituality is a genre that is near and dear, to me I read, listen and explore all I can get my awe of life around. My favorite contemporary outlet is the films and documentaries put out by the Samadhi Center. You have expanded my awareness and inspired the moments that I dwell. Mahalo for all you do! Dan and Tanya are beautifully sensitive and insightful guides for those seeking to develop true awareness. The building is perfect for meditation retreats, lodge-like, but very airy and bright. I really appreciate that it is designed for relatively small groups (\u003c20). The heavily forested rocky Canadian Shield land surrounding the center quiets the mind and is very conducive to contemplation. Though you get the feeling of being deep in the wilds, the center has good roads and paths and is very accessible by car. The food is great and the lodging options are good and appropriately minimalist for meditation retreats (bunks, private rooms or little private cabins), not lux but entirely comfortable and minimal. Also, GONGS! If you already know, you know. If you don't, well, let's just say being bathed in the interplanetary shimmering of the giant Paiste gong is a mighty fine catalyst for getting to some profound meditative states in a flash.

I found this retreat to be a profound experience and deeply transforming...on several levels! Facilities were clean; food was delicious! There was a GREAT group of fellow-participants; people willing to share authentically in our group experience. Dan and Tanya did a great job in preparing for, then operating, a smooth running retreat experience. Definitely would recommend give high marks overall

My experience at The Samadhi Centre for the 10 day retreat has changed my life. I'm so grateful to have had Dan and Tanya to guide me along the way. Everything was spectacular and the property is absolutely beautiful. I plan on coming back as soon as possible!

The Samadhi Center is a spectacular place. My wife and I did a weekend silent retreat over a month ago and I'm still experiencing profound benefits from my time spent exploring nature, self and unwinding in a beautiful zendo set on top of a small hill on a dozen or more acres of pristine land with plenty of huge mature pine trees. Dan and Tanya are caring and conscientious hosts that attended to all participants needs. I'm looking forward to going back just as soon as i can carve out some time to get away from the city.
