We were blown away by the outstanding service and professionalism we received. Our pump broke and we were having trouble finding the model we wanted. In one phone call, the owner Brian sold us the pump model we needed and arranged for his installer Allan, to install the pump within 2 days. We were able to send Brian photos of our equipment in advance so he made sure Allan was prepared to complete the job when he came. His price was lower and his delivery time was faster than other pool companies. I also got pricing for annual maintenance from them and found them to be very competitive, therefore I’m switching all my services to Pioneer in Markham.

We had our above ground (dished down) pool installed 25 years ago by Pioneer Pools. The pool is still in great condition. We have opted for the pool openings for the last few years and are always happy with the work done. Kyle and another guy came today and as usual the service was excellent. He really knows his stuff. Even down to the smallest detail like putting the frost plug in, putting a cap on the pump, putting the cover in the shed and more. He went above and beyond our expectations. We strongly recommend this company for their knowledge and their superior service.
This is the third pool I have had done. I wish my experience was as good as the first two done with other companies even though the experience wasn’t terribly bad. My experience with Pioneer Pools for this one was amazing. The owner Brian is very knowledgeable and customer focused. The whole team was very organized and the job was amazing. They really care about your circumstances and overall experience. I would highly recommend this company for pool instalment. So glad they are operating in Durham Region. Jeff B Whitby
As a carry-over from the fall before, we were supposed to be the first liner install after season started. However they didn't get to our pool until six weeks in and until we sent final notice before taking them to court. If they were as efficient in pool work as in producing excuses, they would be a stellar contractor, but alas. Their big excuse was the weather (hi, we live in Canada) yet they seemed to be working elsewhere. The other big excuse was sourcing parts and \unexpected\ complications with the type of equipment I had. I expect a professional crew would have caught onto these \complications\ out of the gate and ordered the parts in a timely manner, instead of using it as an excuse for delay and higher cost. I mean you only had 9 months to think about it. and...I just checked a few past reviews, who had the same experience. Wish I did this before contracting them. You don't get to use the same weather excuse year after year. If you run up against the same issue you are either incompetent or intentionally misrepresenting. In addition to the hassles with getting the liner installed, within the first year of the liner popped out of the track several times and I've had to fix it myself as they don't return calls. Save yourself a lot of frustration and stay away.
