Olympian Swimming offers excellent and fun swim classes for both children and adults. Personally, I swam through their Learn to Swim Program at the Warden location, then into the Olympic Way Program (pre-competitive) and then competitively at the Midland location. Full circle, I was able to come back and work at Olympian Swimming and absolutely love it. The coaches are really encouraging and they really focus on technique!

Its difficult these days to find programs that focus on perfecting swimming techniques/skills. Olympian offers a great program teaching great foundations, that naturally also lead to pre competitive and competitive programs. Its truly a one stop shop of excellence in swimming!!

Highly, highly recommended. I went to Olympian for help in passing a firefighter swim test (15minute water tread). I had literally 5 days to learn to tread water. I had my doubts but I took a chance and got in contact with Gary the owner. I explained my situation and was quickly scheduled for 3 private sessions (over 4 days). Gary was a fantastic instructor/coach (as well as instructor josh who I had one lesson with) who took the time to listen to my questions and pushed me just enough to ensure I met my goal. Needless to say, 3 private lessons and I went from sinking like a rock to treading comfortably for 15 minutes and passing my swim test. Many thanks to Gary and Shauna and the great staff they have at Olympian School of swimming. Top notch people who are passionate about swimming and helping the individuals who come to the swim school.

If I could give Olympian Swimming 10 stars--I would. I have three children that learned to swim at Olympian Bullock. I've been a member since 2014. My two older children completed all 12 levels of the program and went on to swim in the precompetitive. The coaches, staff and owners are absolutley wonderful. Both my kids went on to swim in University (one now does open water competitions). I registered my third child for swimming in 2019 and she loved it and was doing so well and then covid-19 hit. After being away for a year, we finally started swimming again last week--I have not seen my daughter this happy in a year.! She loves her coach Danny--and they have actually ramped up their program and introduced her to new cutting edge swimming techniques with pretty cool and innovative equipment! The place is absolutely spotless, physical distancing was well managed, and in a nutshell we felt extremely safe and are so thrilled to be back! Thank-you to the wonderful staff of Olympian for the exemplary coaching! As a mom I'm so happy to see my daughter exercising again--and in such a safe setting!

One has to wonder where all these 5 star ratings come from and why? How can you just rate a place and not explain why you are giving them 5 stars. This place is far from perfect. It's very overcrowded even with the 4:1 ratio of the lower level classes. There is never anywhere to sit & observe my kids when it's turn for their classes. Often people are taking up seats with their belongings or putting their feet up. Can't even find a place to hang up our jackets as every single hanger is always taken and there are shoes everywhere on the floor, my kids have fallen so many times trying to take off their shoes. We started classes last Spring (3 kids) and i have yet to see any sort of management there. I get the the feeling that the teenaged "coaches" are running the place. They are often sitting at the front tables socializing with each other, on social media or on their phones. There are only 3 hairdryers for kids to dry their hair (1 broke - still not replaced). Which makes it near impossible to get out of there for at least 45 min while we all form a line up watching kids attempt to try their hair while their parents are on their cell phones. Change rooms never seem to be clean and have a heavy build up on the floors under and on the benches that can easily be cleaned with the proper cleaning supplies, but yet are not visibly clean. My kids went through 2 rounds of lessons and are still learning the same things?! I finally pulled them out in October for a new spot for lessons and they have progressed very quickly. I think this place needs some proper management & supervision. It is very poorly run, which is a shame since it's a convenient location and they have 3 pools for all the different swimming levels.

I would like to take few minutes out of my day today to appreciate the help that I have received from two amazing coaches here at bullock. I took almost all my lessons this time with Danny and he has been fantastic. He observes great and suggests better. Makes the environment friendly and encourages us to do better. Danny, Good job buddy! Another coach, worth mentioning, Richard, Whom I met only one time but he even improved my front strokes and made me a better swimmer. I really appreciate his work. He observes all details and could pin point what is wrong in my swimming style and kudos to him for that too. All in all, other coaches who took their time to teach us life saving skill, deserves a thumbs up too. Thanks Olympian Swimming!

My son has completed 23 classes. The first session was super good and things changed from the second session. After few classes, there was a different coach. I thought its just for that one class and did not bother much. Then noticed every week there was a different coach. So in the second session, ended up with different coaches for most of the classes. I went thru the website to changed the timings to have a consistent coach for last few classes of second session and for third session. However, the same thing is happening again. From my perspective, I feel it will be difficult for new learners to have different coaches. Very disappointed with this and all please be aware of it. SAME COACH IS NOT GUARANTEED. I feel like wasted money and time and WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.
