Having just moved to Toronto from Boston back in September, we thought about enrolling our daughter into piano lessons here in Canada. Unfortunately Covid appeared and she had to take a pause on the lessons for nearly 1 year. We were referred to Hanway by a co-worker as her child also studies here. We inquired about the lesson over the phone and the receptionist answered all of our questions with professionalism and we set up a trial lesson with Ms. Katharine. The studio is well sanitized and we saw the teacher sanitizing the piano before my daughter’s lesson. Shes very experienced and confident in her knowledge of the instrument. I would definitely recommend Hanway Studio to fellow friends and to those who see’s this review

Having no musical experience as a 30 year old, the instructors at Hanway music provided me with great confidence. Lessons were booked over the phone and they were able to slot me in according to my work schedule. From the first lesson the teacher was patient and supportive, she also provided me with some extra materials for class. Now two months into my lesson, I am able to play simple pieces and read music without a hitch. Would recommend this studio to music lovers of all ages.

A friend who’s child attends this school has recommended us to Hanway. The owner personally took the call and was able to answer all of our questions in a very professional way. Shortly after the call we received a confirmation text message with the time and location that we agreed upon. When we went for the first lesson, the teacher was already prepared in the classroom. The teacher was experienced and always asking my daughter how she felt with the difficulty as she progressed. In the end she also did a musical game where my 5 year old fairly enjoyed. Overall was a pleasant experience and we’re glad our daughter has found a piano teacher that suits her. Would recommend Hanway for anyone who is interested in learning the piano!

What a hidden gem. Gives a very warm & welcoming feel. Ms. Lin was very experienced in working with kids with special needs. She takes the time and procedure to ensure my son knows what he needs to do in class and at home. Would definitely recommend
