Fabulous area and terrific trails. Mike Lake is serene and beautiful. However....if you want to reach a goal on a hike and want something more challenging than a flat walk around this tiny lake, be prepared for a minimum 4 hour hike. Otherwise, you are going straight up the mountain without reaching a view point or destination... which is fine...

Great place to bring the kids for a hike, or fishing at mike lake. Been coming here for over 30 years, and it's still great.
