Can't say enough about the difference Brazilian Jiu-jitsu has made in our daughters life since she started over 2 years ago. Professor Igor and his wife Katrina have built an environment which teaches young children about self defense, discipline and respect! If you are going to have your child do a Martial Art then Mamute Martial Arts Academy is the only place to go!

Mamute MAA is an outstanding gym, the people there are some of the kindest I’ve ever met in the bjj community, everyone is so respectful, supportive and welcoming. Professor Igor is a great coach with a lot of patience; every time I have the opportunity to learn from him he has been thorough and clear with his instructions and is more than willing to help make sure you’re learning the correct technique. They are truly just a great group to train with and the open mats on Sunday are always a good time.
