Highly recommend it! My son (age 8) has been in the Idea Incubator class for 10 weeks now. He looks forward to it every week and can really articulate what he's learning - which to me means that he's really understanding it. Since joining MakerKids we've talked about our experience so positively that three other kids we know have joined!! (2 girls, 1 boy). As an educator myself it's a real pleasure to see ACTUAL student-centred enthusiasm-driven learning happening. It's clear that so much thought is going in to fostering an environment where curiosity is supported and encouraged. Our son is gaining confidence and competence at a rapid rate in this program. We feel so lucky to have found this program. Great free classes to check it out too!

A good place for a kid to learn robotics, coding and minecraft.
My son attended the Robotics and Coding trial classes. I asked if he enjoyed them and if he made any friends. He said the kids all worked together: “We were all friends!”. That was so nice to hear. As a mother, it’s a great feeling to see my son excited and engaged in new activities, as well as seeing him learning how to collaborate with others. Teamwork is such an important part of life. I would heartily recommend MakerKids. Fantastic experience and great staff!
Our son Sasha (8 years old) attended the camp in July 2018 and he had a fantastic experience. He is already talking about coming back next summer. As a parent (and a very demanding mother) I found the staff to be very professional, the educators to be great with children, and the atmosphere to be very positive. What's more, the staff accommodated my requests and ensured that Sasha had the most enjoyable week. Highly recommend!
