Wow. We came here for the distillery and I had no idea about the beautiful Inn and restaurant. What an absolutely stunning place. The utmost of class in every sense. The grounds were amazing and the facility top notch. We mostly just toured the grounds and then visited the shop. The products were great and we picked up some for home. We would have stayed in for the restaurant if we weren’t so paranoid about COVID this year. We will definitely be back.

An enchanting litte spot. Was only there one night but the grounds were stunning; I felt like I was in a magical land! The staff were so kind and sweet.

Arriving at the distillery truly makes you feel like you are transported to the highlands of Scotland. Its long winding entrance and the slow reveal of the distillery which is an amazing reveal. The food was second to known and prices were amazing. While we stayed in the chalets halfway to the top of the hill, the overlooking views were great, nice thick fog in the morning and watching it burn of as the sun started to shine down! The staff, the grounds, the entire experience was simply amazing and will be on my revisit list very soon!

Beautiful spot in the middle of a Glen. Landscaping very well done, beautiful gardens and layout! Delicious food and good beer selection. Lots of seating options, great service. Definitely worth a stop on your Cape Breton travels. Would love to come back and spend a night or two at the Inn!

What a spot to unwind! The grounds of the Glenora made you feel like you were somewhere in Europe. Beautifully manicured plants, gardens, etc. The bubbling brook that flows along the grounds was the icing on the cake. The food was delicious and the live music in the afternoon and evening was very enjoyable. The continental breakfast was slightly disappointing but our overall experience was great and we'll be back.

My fiance took us on a trip to the Distillery for my birthday for a couple nights at the end of August and we agree it's the most spectacular place we've stayed. We had a room in the Lodge for our stay. The room was great, bed was cozy, great wifi, even a mini fridge which was good because we brought snacks for a picnic to have on the Cabot Trail. Dinner at the pub was fantastic! We did the whisky flight as well which I would highly recommend. The tour was very informative (what a friendly man who runs the tour! We caught up with him while we were checking out), and we've been sipping away at the bottle we brought back to Halifax with us. To say we'll return is an understatement! Highly recommend. The location is second to none, fantastic service, great food, wonderful music.

The Glenora Distillery is beautifully situated near Inverness. The grounds are well-kept, the toilets spotless. They have tours, a gift shop, a pub and dining area. We sat in the Pub and ate lunch which was very tasty and priced fairly. They have live music, which was great. Neil McDaniel has a fine voice and a good repertoire of Celtic music. He plays at least four instruments; piano, guitar, mandolin and an Irish flute of some sort. He was really good. The only thing I was taken aback was their whiskies, which I'm certain were delightful, but they did not have one that was less than 100 per bottle. Out of my league.

It has been at least 7 years since I went on the tour through the distillery - but it still brings back very fond memories. It is a beautiful part of the world.
