Wow, where do I begin? It is clear Marie not only loves what she does, but is good at what she does which is love and take care of your dog. When I came for my first visit, she gave me a full tour of where the dogs had access to, answered all my questions, was very thorough and detailed (including the ingredients she uses in her cleaning products) and just a delight to talk to. Such a huge step up from the doggy day care we had Joey at previously. Marie is 20 minutes away, but it is worth it. She is flexible professional, will not only listen to you but provide her two cents as well which I always welcome. She also send me lots of pictures and videos throughout the day which honestly makes me so happy seeing and knowing Joey is having such a great time and is at ease. Thank you Marie for doing what you do, we appreciate you!

If you need dog boarding, I highly recommend Love Licks and Wags by the Lake. Marie is a wonderfully knowledgeable dog lover that provides a safe, secure and loving environment. She has 3 dogs of her own and takes in a maximum of 3 additional dogs at a time to provide individual care and attention to each of them in her home. She has renovated her place to be not just dog-friendly, but its also a doggy playground, and a spa and she is fully licensed, certified and insured. The free meet & greet sessions ensure peace of mind and socializing prior to the stay. She has a crate-free approach, which I love. She sent us pictures and videos of our Dog (almost 1 year old) the whole time we were away - 11 days. We saw how our dog was enjoying her stay as much as we were enjoying our vacation - was great to have this peace of mind. Cannot recommend it more!!!
I started bringing my 8month old Corgi to Marie after someone recommended her while I was walking my little guy down by the lake and I am so happy that I reached out to her to watch him. He absolutely loves it there and loves playing with the other dogs. Not to mention I was having a lot of issues with the behaviour of him and he is much more behaved because she of her and how she has been working with him! It’s honestly incredible the difference. He always comes up so tuckered our that sometimes I have to carry him to the house because he’s so exchausted. So cute and funny. she spoils him with all these healthy and safe treats and even I switched his food from kibble to a company she uses and I can tell he’s much happier now that I did. I don’t just consider her a doggy daycare...I consider her my friend first and foremost and I only just recently met her! Timing is everything. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is in need of doggy daycare as she’s amazing and her rates are very affordable for the amount of love and attention she gives every single dog she comes into contact with...it’s beautiful to see! ️
Marie has been and continues to be a Godsend in terms of us having complete piece of mind when our dog is being boarded by her. We have used her about 6-7 times so far from overnight to up to 2 weeks or more, and each time our puppy comes back the better for it. She is extremely professional and communicates constantly with photos and videos of how our dog is getting along. Couldn't recommend her more highly - we were extremely lucky to find her.
Love, licks and wags is wonderful! Marie is responsive, flexible, and helpful, and genuinely cares about all the dogs she watches. She sends regular updates and pictures to make sure your mind is at ease while you're away from your pup. We're so happy to have found love, licks and wags!
I've had a lot of people look after my pets but Maire is absolutely the BEST! I left my puppy for 1 week of boarding before she was 5 months old. I was so happy to receive daily photos and updates. She loves to go to doggy day care and has such a blast playing with all of the other dogs. Love Licks and Wags is my salvation so I can travel and not worry about my sweet pup.
My dog actually vocalizes like crazy when we drive up to daycare every Thursday. He loves Marie! He comes home tired, clean( yes clean) and smelling g like he was at the spa. She loves her work and it shows in my dog!
Can’t say enough amazing things about Marie!! We are so happy to have found her!! It truly is a special place to leave our dog Guinness. It was important for us to find a loving home for Guinness when we need help. Marie is truly a dog lover. She has created a beautiful home personalized to accommodate her dogs... even a doggie door! I also am impressed with all of her knowledge , her certifications to take care of dogs and her commitment to a natural approach to the diet and care of her dogs, and the environment she lives in. The dogs are her first priority and ensuring they are happy. Guinness has so much fun with her dogs Mana, Shine down and Moonflower who have wonderful personalities. Marie, takes the proper time to also get to know your dog and ensure they are comfortable in her home. She is thorough, thoughtful and strives to understand your dogs needs to ensure they are content and happy. When we drop off Guinness he practically runs in and doesn’t look back. Thanks Marie for all your hard work and dedication to offer such a loving and safe home for our dog Guinness. It’s his home away from home!!
