It was quite a simple little setup out there but I had a nice little time. The owner is a real natural with the horses. It might be better if there was a little playground or something so after driving 45 minutes to get there I could spend a few hours with my little guy.

These folks provided wagon rides for a community event we attended, and I was shocked to see the driver using a bullhook to prod one of the horses on whenever it slowed down too much. This is a type of prod that is being banned for use on elephants in most places, I've never ever seen one used for horses. This is completely inappropriate and unnecessary. Do not give these people your business. If you need convincing, look up what a bullhook is. I did as soon as I got home as it's not a tool I've ever seen in real life and I wanted to be sure I had the name right. After the sleigh ride I asked to say hi to the horses and the one that was being prodded appeared to be sick, with discharge from it's nose and eyes. Very saddened and disappointed.
