Having worked in a number of retirement homes as a cook I have seen a variety of places and Grand Wood really stood out when it was time for my mother to live there. From the initial tour to the moving in ,the staff were genuinely caring and kind. The rooms were spacious and clean and most importantly the food was really good. My mum loves all the activites and socializing that goes on. Really feels like home for her now.

We had a lovely tour provided by Kelly! Kelly made us feel at home and answered every question with ease. She especially made my mother in law comfortable and her kindness helped my mother in law to get comfortable with this next stage of life! All staff we encountered were lovely! Hopefully my mother in law will be calling Grand Wood Park home very soon!
With this war of Covid, I was reached to help out at Grand Wood when they fell victim to an outbreak of COVID.With uncertainty, I was compelled to help.I was welcomed, just like family while working there.The leadership is amazing, the staff are wonderful from management to front line.I saw them make a quick recovery related to the excellent leadership and the staff working as one, working as a team I will be forever grateful to have been exposed to this wonderful facility.It was an honour to help.

I cannot say enough about my family’s experience with the staff at Grand Wood. Care and communication has been excellent and beyond expectations. The staff is happy and work well together. The residents seem happy and always say hello on their way to where they are going. Their activities calendar serves any interest. This place may not look like the Ritz on the outside, but on the inside is a caring and nurturing environment. Isn’t that what you wish for a loved one? To be around people who genuinely care and are able to make actual relationships with their residents? Lovely atmosphere. Thank you much for being there for us.
