Once again I'm completely satisfied with the quality of the plating here. It took a bit longer than promised ,but the wait was worth it. The bumperettes are spring steel and nearly 100 years old. They took a lot of polishing.

Do not take your parts here for plating! I was told a couple weeks and show quality. When I went in to pick up my trim pieces, they were wrapped in newspaper and packing tape and eady to go\. Good thing I opened them all up and looked. One piece out of five looked perfect. The other four had pits and blisters all throughout them. Told Mel they were unacceptable and starting calling once a month to see if they were re-finished yet. All I got were a pile of excuses and put-offs for 6 months. Finally went in to pick them up and every piece is destroyed except one corner. None of the pieces fit together and the edges where they meet, are not square anymore. All three long pieces r stretched with a twist in them. Big blobs of metal everywhere and some pieces not even in chrome. To his credit, he didn't try to charge me anything but now I have to find new trim that is not reproduced by anyone. Big mistake and a pile of stress for nothing. I regret choosing this company to plate my rare trim.
