When you have a million things to worry about for college, it’s just so relieving to have your living space and utilities taken care of. I’ve been staying at Foundry First for the past year, and it’s so nice. There’s a Real Canadian Superstore nearby where you can get groceries and shopping done, and the living space itself is clean and comfy. They do make a good effort to match you up with someone you’d get along with.

Foundry First is an excellent place. I have been living here for the last two years. The rooms are cozy, and all essential facilities are available. It’s very close to Fanshawe College and has a few cool places nearby like Carey’s and Barney’s.
I’ve been studying at Fanshawe for the last two years, and I spent one of those looking for decent places that let me focus on my studies and the other year living at Foundry First, where everything gets taken care of you. My life has become so much easier ever since I started staying here! There’s a Real Canadian Superstore nearby. I can do my shopping easily. There are also some cool extras on-site like a movie room and a gym. I also really like the study rooms; they help a lot with productivity.
When I first moved in it was not cleaned at all. The people there before me left everything in their rooms and fridge, when i mean everything I REALLY mean it. Fridge was stocked to the max with moldy food (see for yourself down below), the bedrooms still had clothes and bedsheets on from the other resident, its like the person just grabbed a bag and left everything there. My roommates and I had to clean everything up. Was not a pleasant welcome to Foundry first. Wifi is included but it didn't work for half of the year had to go to the school all the time to get my work done and my phone bill was through the roof. The elevators would break at least twice a month and would take weeks to fix. Was a problem for me and everyone else on the top floor. Absolutely not worth the 750 dollars I had to pay a month. Don't waste your time here.
