Huge waste of time sitting on this waiting list. During the telephone intake I was informed that they have multiple people who offer DBT. I agreed to waiting longer until one such therapist became available. Shortly into my first appointment, the therapist abruptly ended the session, explaining that she does not offer DBT (even though she knew before we met that this was what I was looking for), and nor does anyone there. Days later I was contacted by the intake coordinator who said she was going to give me three referrals for other services. These eferrals\ were simply the name of two places she thought might offer DBT, and a suggestion to search on Psychology Today for a properly trained DBT therapist. I could have spent months on a proper waiting list rather than waiting to be told to look elsewhere. Very disappointed.
