I bought a couple cavnas from the owner. The day I picked them up curbside I noticed that one had a bit of a crease near the edge. When I went to paint it, I noticed the canvas had been cut. When I returned the canvas, the owner promptly told me he never sold it to me like that. Leaving no room for discussion he said he would replace it but basically I did the damage not him. I tried to explain the condition I received the canvas but he brushed me off. I usually shop at Currys art store in London they have better prices and better service. I wanted to support this smaller store as the owner seemed stressed. I won't be back to get the replace canvas nor will I continue to shop at this store.

The female staff are very nice. However, the guy (he may be the owner) that works there is very rude. I tried to return some gel pens that I bought the same day because the ink ran out after one use. He tried to tell me that was just the colour of the pen. It wasn't, but I decided to take the loss rather than argue with him and cause a scene. I have added a photo as proof. You can get maybe a few letters out of them before they dry up and the ink isn't as opaque as before. It's a shame, because I was excited to use these pens for a project. I understand that it's his policy to not do refunds on pens, but they're defective right from the start. At least give store credit. Or make sure you store your supplies properly so this doesn't happen again. I also couldn't test them beforehand because they came in a box set. It's very disappointing because I really liked this store. I will go elsewhere from now on for my art supplies. One bad staff member ruined the whole store for me. Don't try to argue with this man, he's very abrupt and unkind. Very disappointed.

I needed some art supplies and decided to try a local store and this shop did not disappoint! I placed an order online today before noon and a couple of hours later, Jessica called to confirm my order and to inform me some products I ordered were no longer available. She had a list ready of what I could substitute and was super kind and helpful! After all the changes were made (and a lucky find of old stock), I opted for local delivery as I didn't need the items right away and by 5pm they were at my door! I'm not well-versed in the art world, but I thought the selection and variety was great, and as stated above, if things are no longer available, the staff makes sure you are aware as quickly as possible and is ready with possible alternatives! Great first-time experience and look forward to future ones!
