I love doing these pottery classes! If you go with a friend the price is great (40 for two people for most of the pieces). I love the new set up; they show you a basic run through of the piece and then let you do your thing. The class is only an hour and a half which can sometimes feel rushed, so if you're a beginner, choose an earlier class and stay a little later if you need to (the staff are usually pretty good about taking extra time if you need it). The new store layout is great, but the tables are a little bit cramped if the class is full (try a weeknight class for less busy times). Keep in mind, for each piece you come to the studio 3 times (once to build, once to glaze, and then once more to pick up the finished piece). This can be a bit of an annoyance if you live far away, but they do allow a 2 week grace period between sessions so you do have some time to arrange to pick up your piece. I've done three pieces now and keep coming back to do more, they are so addictive! Absolutely love the staff here, they are super friendly and approachable!

This place is awesome! Came for a workshop to make a monster bowl and it was a bunch of fun. The staff there is amazing, they are so friendly and kind and you can tell they genuinely care and love what they are doing. It was awesome how much freedom they gave when making the monster bowl got to really use our imaginations. I cannot wait to come back and would absolutely recommend 4Cats for a fun place to be creative and make art!
It was a fun event that my sister took me and my mom to do to make the actual pottery aspect of it. However, to try and go back for the painting was such a hassle, they barely offered any glazing times, some months they didn’t even offer one glazing time due to summer camps... which is all fine, but hire more staff so your other customers can actually finish their art that they paid to do. Once we finally got in for glazing, they gave us ONE hour to complete 3 coats of paint and 2 coats of glaze. We couldn’t even finish our 3 coats of paint so the staff told us they’d do the 2 coats of glaze... they barely even did one coat for us (there was bare spots that lacked glaze and looked super rough and then other areas they clumped the glaze on so it looked thick and milky)... when I went back for the 3rd time the staff gave me a lot of attitude. Definitely seems like a good idea and a good outing - but they are lacking staff and open hours to actually work on your piece. I’d only suggest doing this if you have nothing else going on in your life and are able to make their odd ball rare hours and have lots of patience.
My daughter takes drawing classes at 4Cats and she is always excited for when it is time to head to her art lessons. It is always so hard to get her to leave once her session is over because she is so immersed in what she is doing. I love hearing how her classes went and all the interesting art techniques she is learning. My daughter always tells me that 4Cats is her favourite part of her day.
We came here for my daughters birthday and we had a splatter party! It was a lot of fun for all of the kids, such a wonderful experience. Haha i would think it would be fun to do for my birthday too. The staff here are amazing and went above and beyond. They greeted us with bright smiles as soon as we walked in and made everyone feel really special and welcome. I have never been to a 4Cats before, I was recommended by a friend. But after having my daughters birthday here and feeling so welcome we cannot wait to come back again! After seeing the giant smile on my daughters face having so much fun with all of her friends along with being covered in paint haha! I am looking forward to our next visit.
