Beautiful little stop rough road thou worth the slow drive in!

A beautiful place to take a break when travelling. The raging river and swirling waterfall make it an amazing scene to enjoy. If you are going down the trails to the waters edge ensure you use caution. The banks can be eroded and slip away when stepped on. Especially when river levels are high due to the winter snow and ice melt. There is also a great viewing platform which is fenced for safety. Everyone will love the viewing experience.
Nice deck to view where the rocks narrow and river is forced through. It was quite spectacular - and loud! I went with my fwd car and wished it was a Jeep. The road is not well maintained, with tons of deep potholes full of water; if not that, then scattered sharp rocks. Went like 3 or 5 km/h so although the road is only about 3 km, it took a long time. Tons of different trees and plants including skunk cabbage and raspberry. Wouldn't recommend going down there with anything less than a truck or off-road vehicle, but it was a lovely sight to see.
Great scenic spot to visit not far off the highway. Watch for passing traffic on the very narrow access road. Parking space is limited at the bottom. There is a nice viewing platform that juts out over the river. Worth a stop.
The road there was horrible. The observation platform has seen better days, The boards were soft and weak. I wouldn't want to see more than 1 person on it at a time. Not worth the wear and tear on my vechile. Rather go to Hells Gate.

Fun place to stop for a view. Road in is a little rough, I recommend a FlWD.
