Hey, it's a toll booth. So what's pleasant about that? The booths are now devoid of all human interface. Cashless payment only. Credit card and transponder. You are informed of this only when it's too late to consider alternatives. In my line the credit card reader required four swipes before the gate finally lifted. Anxiously awaiting my credit card statement.

Wish I new about this last year. What a smooth drive around Montreal....you never thought you'd say those words.
It's always a gamble whether or not there will be a traffic jam caused by either a payment system failure or just some dude who can't figure out how the tap works. Give yourself a 10-15 minutes buffer.
Gotta love the A30 pass no ifs and buts and you pay without stopping ... And you save fees ;)
it was super slow. the traffic was not bad, but every car ahead of us took forever to pay
