It's really a beautiful park to visit together with your loved ones because their environment is clean and wide. No worries for parkings and washrooms because there's a lot of it. You also swim in the beach if you want to because it's also clean and you can take photos as well in order for you to remember your happy and unforgetable moments.
The beach is well maintained, if you can get a spot in the lower parking lot its a quick walk across a boardwalk then you have choice pickings of spots along the soft sand, to the right is a little rockier, the left is a little more sand. The bathrooms and changerooms are easily accessible but closer to the parking lot. The outdoor shower has 2 heads, one for your feet and another to get everything else, and GREAT pressure to help get the sand off.the water is usually calm and the sand is fairly shallow for almost 25 meters so it can be a pro/con as you can get out pretty far before you can't touch the ground which is great for parents who want to introduce their kids to the water but it can be a little shocking if you have more independent kids who might be tempted to go out farther than you would feel comfortable with especially if you have several to watch. This beach also offers a lovely splash pad and jungle gym up the hill if you plan on making a day out of it. Great spot to picnic and spend the day! Never had a bad time.
The city or the company that own and look after this area have been good enough to supply more than enough garbage cans within this location that it would take more effort to litter than to dispose of your trash on the floor. Unfortunately however I didn't see a single person even bother. I don't really understand why it's a very nice place with some fantastic scenery in the area but the amount of people who clearly couldn't care was a bit sad to see to be honest.
Great park..was there for Hogs For Hospice Event .in 2019!! Got to see the amazing band Buckcherry & Vince Neil in concert..great time had by all !!
