Literally cannot believe this place. There must be absolutely zero communication between one another in this building. I was given an appointment time of 12PM noon for a surgery procedure. I sat in the waiting room for 2 and a half hours until someone called me in. Two. And. A. Half. HOURS. I can understand a 15 minute wait. I can even deal with maybe 30 minutes, it happens. But in what world does it take 2.5 hours to finally be called in for a 12 o clock appointment. Absolutely unbelievable. These people are terrible at their jobs.

I just had a recent stay at Erie Shores Health Care and I must say the care was exceptional. From the time I entered the OR to the time I was discharged from the second floor the nurses were wonderful. Nurse Karen,Amanda, Dana and the others that I am sorry I can't remember there names. It was very nice to see everyone assisting each other with the transition of the new computer system and still keeping their professionalism. I just want to thank you and everyone is so appreciated. Thank You!

A few weeks ago I had the unfortunate need to visit the Emergency department due to an animal bite. The only unfortunate part was on my side. I have to say that for the first time ever i had a pleasant visit. Everyone was pleasant and fun to speak with. Even apologizing for a slow computer system. There has been a big change in that department and it shows. Thank-you! And a very special shout out to the RPN and her student / trainee for your care and concern about the possible issues that could arise from this type of injury. You are doing a great job of training the future.

I was in the ER this evening with my daughter Delilah and wanted to share my experience and commend the staff for their excellent care! In the screening trailer the receptionists had colourful pictures and when Delilah commented on them, they made her feel so important by talking with her at her level about them. When we got to the triage seats, the security brought Delilah a warm blanket the she kept for the rest of the visit. In triage we met a nurse named Patrick that was fantastic! He was sweet and caring and made Delilah feel special. He even commented on her pretty curls. Later he can in the room and helped the doctor put in the stitches! The receptionist we seen after the triage nurse gave Delilah an extra medical bracelet for her teddy. Delilah got three stitches and did her best to be brave. After the stitches were in, Patrick asked Delilah what her favourite colour is and at first she was indecisive but settled on the colour red. A few minutes later Patrick came back with a red popsicle for Delilah. As we were leaving, Delilah was skipping and telling everyone that she had been brave as every nurse that we passed smiled and said good night to her. After we got to our vehicle the security met us at the gate and gave Delilah a rubber ducky and payed for our parking. The care we received was top notch!

I came by ambulance and they wanted the doctors at ER to check me over but when I got in after a two hour wait; he just asked, what can I do for you and I told him what the EMS told me then he simply looked in my face and said that’s for the family doc. Triage nurse was super, but the doctor didn’t want to do his job. Definitely not a recommended place to go.
