We had booked road trip through Quebec for July 2020 about 8 months previous, long before pandemic. We had 4 stops booked, this was only one that would not offer full refund due to Covid 19, even though we have an at risk person in our household

I was in a pinch needing a place to stay in the Saguenay area and I was a little worried about the quality I would find there. I found Rose-Marie's Les Chalets through an agency website and it was an exceptional place to stay. Very clean, extremely comfortable and unique in many ways. Breakfast was excellent and the bed and room very comfortable. Keep in mind, it can be a little tough to find...its also a bit secluded - the next decent sized town is a 30 minute drive (Alma). The lake is a beautiful setting and Rose-Marie is a great host. Another couple of quick tips...I must have missed the information that it is a cash only establishment...so be sure to bring some. Also, (as you should expect this deep into Quebec) you should know some French. I got by with the little I know, but there wasn't anyone there, other than other guests, that knew English. But everyone was really nice and dealt with the situation beautifully. I would stay again. Une excellente valeur et belle maison!

Bel endroit pour des petites vacances en famille! Nous avons louer un chalet, Un excellent compromis entre un hôtel et le camping pour ceux qui veulent un lieu sympa pour les enfants, mais le confort d'un chalet la nuit! Baignade, sable fin, jeux disponibles et à mi-chemin entre Saguenay et lac St-Jean, c'est parfait! Par contre, n'y allez pas si aimez être isolé du monde, car c'est quand même un lieu de vacances donc il y a des campeurs et d'autres chalets proches. Mais tout le monde est très relax!

Bon service, le chalet Mary Kate est très propre, petit mais pour trois personnes parfait. Endroit magnifique. Accueil de Mme Tremblay magnifique malgré son mauvais rhume. Je recommande l’endroit!

J'ai adoré malheureusement nous n'avons pas pu profiter du lac nous étions trop tôt en saisons . L'endroit est propre et bien entretenue les chalet son bien équipés.les enfant on adorer les adultes en on profiter
