Love the service I’ve had during these difficult pandemic days while getting my business ready to re-open. Angela and the team at Redwood Plastics have been fantastic! Our front desk plexiglass barriers are perfect and even though there was a manufacturer issue with our latest PVC barrier order, Nick showed up in just over an hour (on a Friday) to fix it (coming from Langley to Vancouver)! Really great customer service, highly recommend!
Management does not really listen to their employees and is extremely slow to act on issues. Lousy communication between management and employees. Severe lack of training if u don’t have a Lead hand position. Little to no supervision in many cases which leads new employees to develop poor work habits from the start. The company repeatedly speaks of providing customers with \quality products\ yet the production floor culture negates that and only stresses umbers\ at all times. Much of the equipment is antique (more than 10 years old) and is not properly maintained. The tools are far behind the times in this age of technology. Repetition within very physically demanding positions wears the employees out. Haphazard organization of various aspects within the warehouse, lacking proper structure for daily processes. They will fire you on the spot with NO notice as you are just a number with no name, no family and no life to live. Upper Management have no industry experience, guys trying their hand at production, pffft, gimme a break. They have more meetings in day than product being shipped. The company also likes to temper with google reviews and gets office people that work there workers, management, owners and close friends and close customers to review this place as a good place to work and do business with. Makes u wanna think twice what the reason is for that. If I could give that workplace 0 stars I would with no doubts.
After being a Redwood Plastic employee for 3 years there is nothing but good to say about this company. This company has grown exponentially in the last 3 years getting itself equipped with some of the most top notch machinery available in this industry. This growth has let the company promote and move up employees like myself into positions I never thought I would see within such a short time frame. Management is dedicated to the growth of its employees. Outside of the great pay, benefits, retirement plans and steady work hours(with near unlimited overtime)it is an environment filled with wonderful caring people, ranging from shop floor employees to the owners knowing us all by name which is something quite rare nowadays, you couldn't ask for a better place to work at. I am proud to be a redwood Plastics employee and wish for many others to find a company like this one to work for.
The services they offer at redwood are hard to find. It’s even better when they do them at affordable prices. I had them re-coat the drive wheels on my planners. I wouldn’t hesitate to give them a call.
