Our family loves the Komoka Library. When my son was younger the parent and bay group met there (not sure if they still do). and we would also go for story time each week. A great way to get out of the house and interact with other parents and tots. Be warned the price of teaching kids to love books is a little more lively library that the traditional \Ssshshhhhhh!\. My son still loves going to the library with me, and enjoys the scavenger hunts they put on, the friendly staff and being able to check out his own books on the scanner. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I personally find the children's section well stocked, as is the DVD rental. The Adults section is less extensive, but that is easily remedied by ordering books in advance - the library network has access to a really good selection, usually available by next Wednesday. The reference section in any library is not what it once was as the internet has improved upon the times where a reference book was \out of date almost as soon as it's published\. This library helps that by having computer access at a number of terminals, and two separate young kids computer games stations (in the children's section). It bears repeating that this library draws a family crowd and is therefore not the quietest place to work. There is a separate room - sometimes used for booked groups (there's a knitting group meets there). I'm not sure if it can be requested for quiet study if it isn't in use.

Helpful staff and a varied programme of events makes this smaller location feel very active. Excellent new facilities. It shares a building with the YMCA gym and two ice rinks, so there's something for the whole family.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very good selection and a very clean Library will definitely be returning frequently.
Just a play area for kids that’s loud. A babysitter for a librarian who reads newspapers on online. If you want a library, don’t come here
