This place is full of information. The staff are super helpful and they have great maps for hiking trails in the area. They have a video room where you can watch a short 20 min video of the park. Very interesting. The building is brand new, very clean, safe and Covid aware.

Shares a building with First Nations Cultural Centre and a Visitors Info Centre. This is an excellent place to spend time while in Haines Junction especially if you would like to go hiking and need help planning what to do. Fantastic displays with lots of hands on stuff, photos, and great stories. Very useful info centre with great selection of very useful pamphlets and booklets. Definitely stop here. Will take between 3-6 hrs to do all the displays.

Good information. Also convenient place to fill up water bottle since kathleen lake has no water due to covid 19 (which is extremely annoying).

Yukon visitor centres are awesome! The employees here were incredibly friendly, outgoing and helpful. We chatted with one woman (whose name I failed to get) for nearly an hour about her life and experience in the Yukon, and she was incredibly helpful in both recommending and describing in detail some local hikes. Furthermore, she provided us with some useful information and reading materials for some of the other destinations further along in our trip. We have made a habit of frequenting the visitor centres in the towns we pass through and it is always a worthwhile endeavour. Thank you

FYI, when we were here, the Parks Canada portion was closed. Parks Canada and Government of Yukon visitor's centre has a number of informative exhibits. The cultural centre is beautiful. The staff member there, John, was very helpful and spoke a lot about the history of the area and knew a lot about the park, as well. There are not a lot of exhibits, but what they have there are very nice. This is a must visit before leaving Haines Junction.

Extraordinary cultural exposure to the surrounding FN communities. Liked the AV experience provided about the nearby glaciers. Take atleast an hour to visit the center.
