Klava is amazing! She did my wedding make-up and for my four friends and mom. All of our makeup was flawless! Everyone was super happy. Since I don't typically wear much make-up, she really blew me away with the trial look and I had full faith in her for my wedding day. I was breaking out but you could never tell - she did an amazing job and a very natural look. It lasted all day and night, it was just PERFECT! I would 100% recommend her and would use her again in a heart beat!

I had Klava doing my makeup on my wedding day. She was amazing! She makes sure everyone was perfect. Everyone loved her. I asked for a natural look and she did right on. I had some makeup artist before for others wedding that I was bridesmaid, and it was nothing like what she did. It looks like me and it was perfectly done. I will take her for my next occasion. When I decided to switch gears for my wedding due to COVID, Klava was so understanding and patient as we worked to figure out our next move. In such an uncertain time, I was so happy that we had the support of Klava and her team throughout the entire process. I was blessed with Olivia for my trial and wedding day and I honestly cannot adequately express how happy I was with my make-up on both days. Olivia was attentive, engaging and professional and she delivered the perfect natural look that made me feel incredibly beautiful. Choosing a makeup artist for my wedding was one of the most important aspects of the wedding planning process for me as I have battled with cystic acne (and resulting scaring) for several years. I cannot say enough positive things about my wedding makeup experience. Every member of our bridal party was BEYOND happy with Klava's ability to bring each of our visions to life. She covered my acne and scars flawlessly, creating the smooth complexion I had always envisioned. Our makeup was everything we could have imagined and more!!
As someone who barely wears any makeup on a day to day basis, my wedding makeup was something I was most nervous for. My past experiences with makeup for wedding related events have been cakey and heavy, and not looking anything like myself. The moment I met Klava for my bridal trial at her studio, I immediately felt at ease. Klava’s personality and positivity radiates off of her and it makes you feel safe and confident, even before she starts her work! On the day of my wedding, as Klava and her coworker took on each member of my bridal party, the level of confidence in the room grew. As they completed their makeup, Klava would be telling each person on how their specific attributes complimented them and how beautiful they were. She created looks on my bridal party, Mom, mother in law and my Nana that made their inner and outer beauty shine. This included myself! They enhanced everyone’s features, instead of hiding them. They took everyone’s makeup comfort levels into consideration and created the most amazing looks for each individual. Especially for my mother in law who was skeptical of the makeup experience at first, but after the dedication and time spent with her, she was radiating in and out! For my makeup, I was so impressed at how Klava would custom make a colour that suited my skin tone, matched my natural tones and colours and made it feel light and airy. I had never worn makeup before and not felt cakey. My blue eyes were popping, my freckles still showing and I felt like I was glowing. The confidence that she gave me on my wedding day was unbelievable. I have never felt as happy in makeup as I did on my wedding day. Oh, and Josh loved the look too! I recently had a makeup lesson with Klava Z Beauty. What an amazing experience! I was ready to learn more about makeup as I had not wore a lot of makeup except for the basics for most of my life. The makeup artist, Liz, was amazing and really knew her stuff. She went over and above the time spent with me to ensure we covered all the necessary areas and she left me feeling beautiful with the makeup applied and teaching me how to apply it myself. I also purchased the makeup shopping as part of my makeup lesson and boy did I realize that a makeup lesson and makeup shopping really go hand in hand. The makeup shopping with Liz was so much fun and I learned so much including quality of makeup and various reputable brands and I walked away with so much knowledge and I just love all the makeup I bought.
Best gift ever. I requested my family buy me makeup application lessons as i am challenged in this area. Not only is Klava an amazing instructor but she is also an artist. This personable lady wont just do a demo but teaches you how to apply makeup and what are your best colors. The shopping trip is also invaluable . Klava is awesome, she is a very talented artist and goes above and beyond to help you look your best.
Klava and my make-up artist Olivia were wonderful to work with for my wedding last month! From my first email inquiry right up to following up with me after the big day, they were always nothing short of amazing!
