Friendly staff, wonderful little shop! Their jams and scones are divine!!! Just tried their scone mix to make some at home and they turned out AMAZING! Will be coming here from now to satisfy all my tea, scones and jam cravings!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars for this spectacular business. I recently had the pleasure of collaborating with Sophie Bobby for catering a \High Tea\ retirement gathering. Any and all treats had to be individually packaged (#COVID). From the start, Sophie was an absolute delight to correspond with - anything I asked...\We can do that!\. She was prompt in her responses and her warm energy shone through my computer screen. My colleague and I provided the white boxes you'll see in the pictures attached but they did all of the assembling, fitting two mini scones, an individual portion of their homemade jam, and a chocolate inside (ribbon and tag were added afterwards by myself). They were a major hit! Everyone thought they were so cute (they were) and couldn't get enough of the scrumptious scones jam. I cannot recommend Kitten and the Bear enough...to treat yourself with one of their incredible scones and/or for catering your (COVID-friendly) parties.
We found the Bakery through BlogTo and decided to place an order for the Tea Time bundle. once we were in the shop we were impressed by the service and friendly staff. The Buttermilk Scones are the best we have ever had anywhere. The bundle is excellent as it contains 4 Large scones with 4 Jams and 4 Sloane Tea packets and 2 sweet creams. we had 2 the first day and saved 2 for the next day and they were just as good. Highly Recommend this establishment.
Loved this little tea shop. Our party of five went for Sunday Tea Service and all came away satisfied. The fresh scones were delicious and the homemade preserves were great. We all purchased some on our way out. You can tell the place is lovingly cared for by the owners. Great selection of loose leaf teas and most are available for purchase.
Adorable hole in the wall spot. Highly recommended for a group of girls to visit on a weekend. It is a small place so reservations are ideal. Perfect amount of sweets for a tea and scone. Freshly made preserves are perfect and clotted cream is imported from England.
