People were funny and friendly! All the samples you want until you find your favourite soup :)

Wonderful place! They rotate their soups daily, so there's always something different. They have a variety to suit all dietary considerations. Food is always fresh and delicious. Staff are always friendly and efficient, even during the lunch rush. The place is also super clean, including their washrooms. Only thing that could be improved is their selection of sandwiches, but it's such a minor thing it's not even worth complaining about. Highly recommended. Quickly becoming my favorite spot to eat downtown.

Absolutely amazing soups are served here. You may think you're just not a fan of soup, but you will be after coming here. Lobster soup is my favorite here. They give free samples of all their soups so you can decide which one you want to order, knowing before you pay that you'll enjoy it. Great spot for lunch or to warm up on a winter day. Sandwiches here are also very good.

Really awesome! The staff are super friendly, which is a bonus. I love that there are gluten and lactose free options, as (I should) eat those foods. Super good though. A little pricey, but it's filling and better for you than fast food, so I love it!

The tomato basil soup is a little peppery for my taste, but I'm mainly impressed by the kindness and patience of the staff. Anyone who's happy to let a young kid insist on his unique version of mac 'n cheese, and ask questions five different times in a 20-minute visit, is good in my books. It's a comfy, welcoming chain, one I'd be happy to patronize again.

The staff is very friendly. I liked the menu as it also offers gluten-free soups.

Got a half sandwich with a side soup. Prices are decent and the food was really good and filling. Sandwich was quite large for a 'half sandwich'. Lots of soup options and I love that they encourage tasting them before deciding on your order. We got the clam chowder and it was full of seafood. Would come back

New to Kitchener. Walked into King St. Restaurant dressed in my work attire.. Office. Approached the staff, said hello I'm new to Kitchener.. l already had lunch around the corner, and asked if by chance they had dessert.. ( I was looking for ice cream).. They showed me what they had and after our pleasant conversation and giggle about my need for ice cream, l asked if l could use the bathroom.. The woman said no to me! Customers only! Here's the kicker, l was a potential customer.. I eat lunch at restaurant daily.. But after being treated so rude deal manager l can assure you l won't enter your establishment ever again.. Apparently these are your rules. No worries..
