I had ordered a backpack on line from mountain warehouse. When it arrived we realized it wasn't as large as we wanted. As it was a Christmas present I called the store in Kingston to see if they had a larger one of the same model in stock. The store employee, who's name i unfortunately forget, informed me that they didn't have the back pack I wanted. But instead of ending things there he went to the in store stock and told me about every pack they had in stock that was similar to the one wanted. He even went as far as to tell me how many of each they had and what colours were available. He then held 2 of the bags for me until I could get to the store later that day. When I arrived I ended up being served by the assistant manager. Both bags were set aside for me to check out and the assistant manager was very friendly and professional. The exchange was super easy and hassle free and I left knowing I would take my business to them for future camping supplies. It was an all around great experience and the assistant manager and employees all deserve to know they do a great job and its noticed :) The date of my visit was Tuesday December 22nd ( hopefully the managers will read this and give props to the employees )

I purchased a winter coat last January. The quality of the coat is terrible. The seams in both arm pits have failed and broken open. I attempted to see about a store credit or exchange but the staff in the store refused to look at the damage, repeated the warranty period was 12 months (despite the coat being just 15 days over) and seemed to imply that it was my fault for not buying their 'Extreme' line. Their customer service department repeated the same 12 month warranty statement. My total wear time for this coat was 5 months. Stay away from this store and it's poor quality merchandise!

Went to the mall today to get a jump start on snow suits. I went to three stores before I found Mountain Warehouse. Fairly priced and super friendly. Found exactly what I needed (and a couple of extra things). Thanks for the service

We do have to say, that after two very bad unfriendly, rude experiences at this mall, it did us a lot of good, to finally find our way into this amazing store. The whole shopping experience surprised us and we were absolutely blown away by the professionalism and friendly atmosphere. The way that we have been treated by all of the staff was just so much fun, kind and cordial. We don't understand how anyone could write a negative comment about this store. But.... there is Karma!!! We are still in the process of thinking about mass adoption .... Thank you all and lots of hugs, Luis and Ursula

I went to this store yesterday to take a pair of shoes back that were defective. I was blown away at the customer service, William went over and beyond my expectations he was so informative about their shoe products and gave me an exchange without any hassle. I would thoroughly recommend this location.
