I have shopped at Gracie's for years and always enjoyed my interactions with the friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately it seems that times have changed. I visited the store last Thursday (November 28, 2019) just before lunch. The disposition of the woman who \served\ me can only be described as \sour\. Indeed, I overheard her interaction with another customer and her unpleasantness to that customer would have sent me running for the door. I inquired about Gracie's former system of rewarding loyal customers with a gift certificate and was told most ungraciously that with her tenure the records for any customer who had not purchased something in the store in the past year had been discarded. Anyone with a modicum of sense would have seen from the thickness of my file that I was a customer who made many and frequent purchases and that I was a customer who should be courted not treated rudely. I am not particularly concerned that my past purchases were discounted but I was perturbed by the staff person's unfriendly manner. So, I was a customer who used to make purchases at Gracie's and I was a customer who recommended Gracie's to others. Was. I will not shop at Gracie's again nor will I recommend it as a place to expect professional, friendly and courteous service. I do recommend Expressions where you will find the lovely K formerly of Gracie's working part-time in an place where customers are valued. If Gracie's is still operating under the same ownership then I recommend that staff be selected and trained in the basics of politesse lest her client base be further diminished.

I received exceptional customer service at Gracie's Clothing. The sales rep took time with me to find the perfect clothes for work. They are timeless and classic. It's so rare these days to have a personal shopping experience where your individual needs are met. I look forward to shopping at Gracie's Clothing in the future.
Love this store. I was able to find the perfect outfit for my Christmas party... and more. Service was great. One of my favorites.
Stopped in to Gracie's, to support local business. I had checked the opening hours, in advance. When I arrived, the posted sign, said open. I knocked and waited for someone to open the door the door. The sales clerk announced she was just closing up. Really. Enough said.
gracies, king st. kingston ont., to my rescue again!!! ️ as summer is fast approaching, i was in dire need of some great cool outfits! due to health issues, i find it very difficult to shop! with gracies fantastic staff, i message them to send me some pics of new arrivals! they have my sizes, know my life style and cut and colours i love! I choose from the pics of wonderful pieces and outfits, and my husband picks them up! the quality is always superb, wonderful name brands, so affordable and and the sizing always right! i simply couldn't feel the confidence i do, going out, without their amazing clothing and the expert assistance i receive! thankyou gracie and staff, you are a true gem in downtown kingston!!
