Desperate for golf I booked an 8 am tee time last summer at Cardinal on a saturday that was calling for thunderstorms at noon. I gathered 3 of my finest hackers and we managed to make it to the 17th tee when the carts alerted us the storm was 15 minutes away. I told the boys no more practice swings, and we played the hole in 5 minutes as carts flew past us with golfers screaming at us to run for the hills. Without thinking about my shots at all, I hit a drive down the middle of the fairway, put an approach just off the green, punched it within an inch with a seven iron and grabbed my ball and ran. As soon as I got in my car, the torrential downpour began along with one of the worst lightning storms of the year. I was dry, my playing partner Jeff who returned the cart, was soaked. What a champion. I tallied up my score, 89, thanks to the par on the last hole I got thanks to a thunderstorm chasing us. The lesson for me was if I stop thinking so much and just hit the ball I will do much better. I won't learn this lesson. Golf is the best. Due to our rush to finish the round I did not purchase a hot dog, next time I will post a proper review. Oh yeah the course is pretty good.

Three of us booked a simulator for three hours. The experience was great, and the service was exceptional. Great job Cardinal Golf Club!
I had a great time golfing on the West course. The only issue was the drainage issues of the extra rain that we had that week. Maybe next time, a heads up would have been appreciated as to those holes to be aware of.
Had a great time with my buddies here. Food services were closed, but we all expected that. Good quality grass, unlike a few others I've been to over the summer where covid limited maintenance. Had some frost issues in the morning so timings were pushed back a bit, but that was expected.
