Garden Calm

I just grilled a beautiful 45 day, dry aged Porterhouse steak I bought from Home Stretch Meat Market and I have to say this is the very best beef I have had In a long time!!! Expertly cut ( even thickness all over ), nicely trimmed and dry aged to perfection. The flavour was everything a steak should be and tender like only proper dry aging can produce. This is a new business located just off the Owen Sound bypass in the former Gardiner Meats building. I highly recommend giving these wonderful folks a try for some of the tastiest meat in the Owen Sound area. I know I just found my new butcher shop!!!

Friendly service and the products can't be beat. You know exactly where your meat came from and how it was handled. Also have to pay compliments to the cheese and butter.
