This home provides affordable accommodation to people who would otherwise not be able to afford their own place. While I have not resided here, I have had occasion to visit residents and discuss with staff. Staff are always available, receptive and do all they can to meet the needs of residents.

This home has really stepped up in the last year. It is a home for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. The food is plentiful and follows Canada Food Guide. The building has undergone several renovations. Rooms are being redone from top to bottom and bathrooms that are attached to rooms have been reopened and renovated. New general manager and home manager great changes!
Stay away. I wouldn't put my family there.
Do not send your loved ones here. It is supposed to be long term care but there are no call buttons, it is almost impossible to get help at night.It was originally designed to house psychiatric patients which most of them are. The food is not geared to Canada Food Guide, sometimes they don't even cook enough for the number of people who live here. They quite often hand out the wrong medication to the wrong resident. There are no activities. There is a major drug trafficking problem that no one seems to want to deal with. There is no heat in the winter and no air conditioning in the summer. There are many places where ceilings are crumbling and black mold. DO NOT COME HERE RUN THE OTHER WAY.
