We came to this park by accident but actually it was a great choice. We rent the paddle boat here for 25/hour which allows 2 adults and 2 kids on board. It won’t allow you to go too far on the lake though. There’re lots of shades and this park is not too busy.

I would have given this 5 stars but some people are using the grass area for their dogs toilet and not picking up. It has a nice beach and good cover for those wanting to keep out of the Sun. It was 29 this day

Great little beach! The lake stays super shallow for a long distance, so you can safely splash around even if you're not a strong swimmer. Still deep enough for paddle boards and kayaking

Kid- and family-friendly beach that tends to be a bit less busy than Boyce-Gyro up the street with fewer of the people there to show off their beach-bods (so good or not depending on why you go to the beach). The sand is a bit of a narrower strip than Boyce-Gyro, but the drop-off in the water is about the same so you can go a fair way out by walking. A few more rocks in the sand here, though, but just a surprise here and there compared to almost completely nothing on the bottom of Boyce-Gyro but sand. Good rentals for pedal boats in good shape at decent cost. Also a ramp for wheelchair access, and apparently you can get a rental wheelchair to gain access for free (I read this in the city website, but I don't have direct experience: check the city of Kelowna's website under parks and beaches for details.). There is also a little bit of playground equipment here for kids probably in the 4-9 range or so.
