I booked a tour with Carolina in November for which she was 15 minutes late for. I let it go because why make a big deal over someone being slightly late? I scheduled a trial day for today. Originally, I was supposed to arrive for 1:00 pm but because a scheduling mix up my end, I emailed Carolina letting her know that I would be 30 minutes. She confirmed that it was okay with her at 12:59 pm. I arrived earlier than expected at 1:19 pm and emailed promptly when I arrived. I sat down at the front as I was given ZERO instructions. At 1:39 pm, I sent her another note (again not sure what protocol is) asking her if she was going to be meeting me in the front or if I was supposed to be doing something else - no response. I got irritated and left at 1:45 pm. Once I arrived to my vehicle, I sent her & Shane a note about the entire ordeal how I felt like it was disrespectful to book an appointment and then to not both show up for it. Why book the appointment then? I received a response from Carolina where she misspells my name and then proceeds to blame COVID for the reason why there isn't anyone at the front to greet me. We've in the middle of this pandemic for 10.5 months now, do you really want to claim that you haven't figured out a system that is entirely in your control in the last 10.5 months? You would think that she would have come out to the front at-least once to check to see if anyone had arrived, but that didn't happen at all. I'm incredibly disappointed with my experience and how she chose to respond to my email. It's so easy for businesses to blame COVID for things that are in their control. It shows how much they don't really care about rectifying the issue but would rather use a pretty lame excuse to try to get out of having to accept any responsibility.
CoLab is a home for all hard workers and professionals; Shane and Carolina do an excellent job. I love it there, and I super recommend it to anyone! It's the best place to make connections and grow your network. The best Coworkplace I've ever been!
Welcoming staff and nice location. Google directs you to the wrong place but it's not hard to find from there.
I joined coLab a few months ago when I first launched my business. Shane and everyone I’ve met through the coLab have been extremely welcoming and open to sharing knowledge, providing mentorship, and making intros. I've gained incredible insights, connections, and opportunities, as a result of just being in this great workspace! It’s clear that Shane and all the animators are constantly striving to make the space even better with tons of events and opportunities to grow your business.
